play date at the lake

There’s not much better than a mid-week escape up to the cottage with some friends and their babies. So that’s exactly what we did. Shannon, Madelyn, Celia, Izzy, Emily, Luke & I all spent the day up at the lake and it was pretttttty sweet.
DSC_4014Once we got all ten thousand bags out of the cars, the babies played and had some snacks before we all got  changed and ready for a swim. After about 100 trips to bring our supplies down to the beach, we were finally ready to jump in.

After a swim, the babes were all tired out and by some miracle they all napped at the same time. We took advantage of having our arms free and had lunch by the water.IMG_8431 IMG_8432After lunch, the babies played a bit more, before enduring a photoshoot where they had to be naked in the grass.DSC_4018 DSC_4058DSC_4074I mean, those little bums in the grass! Luke and Madelyn liked it so much they decided to go skinny dipping in the lake. After our second swim, we packed everything back up (which took a million years and thank God that Emily was there to help), and headed back home.IMG_8472
