milk & cookies with santa

Okay, I can admit it, we I went a little bit overboard with Christmas photos this year. But I can’t help it – Christmas is my favourite time of year. And this year with Luke being more aware (compared to last year when he was four months old), I wanted to make sure it was really magical.

In addition to our family Christmas photos, I booked a special session for Luke with Santa. We of course booked this amazing session with our favourite Tiara & Tails Photography. The theme was milk & cookies with Santa, so Luke’s wearing some PJs to enhance the magical late night run-in with Santa Clause feel. I couldn’t be more thrilled with how they turned out (what’s new though? She’s amazing). It made it nearly impossible to narrow down the shots we used for our Christmas card, but I’m not complaining.

Luke wasn’t too sure about Santa at first, but quickly realized that he had cookies. We got the classic crying on Santa’s lap last year, so I was glad to mix it up this year. After Luke’s photoshoot, Shannon’s daughter Madelyn joined for a few shots. While she didn’t seem to mind Luke kissing her hand at all, but the poor sweet girl was not a fan of Santa. She was so upset she even got Luke to cry, too. But I mean, the photos of both of them crying on Santa’s lap are hilarious and classic.
