37 week bumpdate

This week has probably felt like the longest one so far. I’ve not got weekly obgyn appointments and weekly ultrasounds to watch this little one’s fluid levels. (Everything is good, though!). I think I’ve hit the point where I’m just exhausted and I’m officially ready to not be pregnant anymore, which surprises me because I didn’t really ever get there with Luke and we went to 41 weeks together. Although, Luke might be the difference this time around, chasing him, lifting him, up and down the stairs, and all that fun stuff. Baby boy is still measuring big, too, so that doesn’t help. Lots of pressure and lots of aching.

Anyway, I will stop complaining now and get on with the update! Please forgive the photo overload – there were lots of keepers this week so I’m just rolling with it.

How far along? 37 weeks
Baby is now the size of: Swiss chard
Gender: Boy!
Maternity clothes? 100% of the time
Movement: Tons and tons, and almost always very visible.
Food cravings: Ice capps and frozen yogurt.
Food aversions: None this week!
Favorite meal this week: We had a couple of actually warm and spring-like days so we barbecued some steak and potatoes and it was amazing.
Emotional moment this week: Nothing that stands out.
Best moment this week: Watching Luke finally able to really run around and play outside in the nice spring weather.
Labour signs? Nope!
Belly button in or out? Out!
Wedding rings off or on? On.
Looking forward to: Meeting our baby boy!
