35 week bumpdate

This past week has probably been the week where I’ve felt the most pregnant. Even little things are really getting hard to do – taking my boots on and off, loading Luke up into the truck, pushing a full grocery cart. Everything just makes me so tired and out of breath it’s almost embarrassing. But at the same time it’s so exciting because I know for sure that I’m getting close to the end. Closer to meeting this new little love of ours.

How far along? 35 weeks (!!)
Baby is now the size of: A honeydew melon
Gender: Boy
Maternity clothes? Yep!
Movement: Oh yeah. Tons.
Food cravings: Cereal, cinnamon buns, ice capps (although not apple fritters anymore!), and Mexican food.
Food aversions: None this week!
Favorite meal this week: I made crockpot brisket tacos and they were to die for.
Emotional moment this week: Getting to see our baby boy again! We had an ultrasound Tuesday morning and there’s just something so special about seeing your baby alive and moving on the ultrasound screen. Another emotional moment this week was sorting through all of Luke’s old baby clothes getting ready for the new baby. It was much more emotional than I expected it to be.
Best moment this week: Same as the emotional moment above. Or, actually, maybe it was having a day of just Curtis and & I on Sunday while Luke spent the day with his grandparents.
Labour signs? Nope!
Belly button in or out? Out!
Wedding rings off or on? On.
Looking forward to: Getting the crib built and finalizing the nursery so I can get everything sorted and organized for when our little love arrives!
