20 week bumpdate
We’re officially halfway there!! And we’re having a BOY! I am so excited that I don’t have the words to describe it. Let the nursery planning and name hunt begin! (Seriously, the hardest part about having a boy is picking a name.)
The snow was coming down while we were taking these photos and Luke decided to crash this photoshoot, so I’m including some of the shots of him and I. Yes, he is wearing buffalo plaid from head to toe.
How far along? 20 weeks
Baby is now the size of: A small artichoke
Gender: It’s a BOY!!! (If you haven’t seen it, you have to check out our gender reveal!)
Maternity clothes? Yup!
Movement: Oh yeah! All. the. time. And it’s so awesome. (He is actually kicking as I type this!)
Food cravings: Ice capps, soup, bagels, ice cream and freezies. I know – I’m not very exciting when it comes to cravings at all.
Food aversions: None this week!
Favorite meal this week: Sunday lunch at dad & Kay’s with Jimmy, Emily & Greg, Curtis, Luke & I.
Emotional moment this week: This has been quite the week. I have a three-way tie: seeing my little bean at the anatomy scan on Monday, then hearing the baby’s heartbeat the OB’s office on Wednesday, and then finding out it’s a BLANK on Saturday. What a week!
Best moment this week: The absolute best was probably a tie between finding out the gender and seeing my little bean and confirming that he’s healthy and perfect. Although hearing his heartbeat is right up there, too.
Labour signs? Nope!
Belly button in or out? In.
Wedding rings off or on? On.
Looking forward to: Planning another little boy nursery and really talking about names!
